“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24
This verse is one of more than 2,000 verses in the Bible that give us instruction, direction, and warning about how to handle our money and possessions in a God-honoring way. The fundamental principle of financial stewardship is that God is the true owner of every material blessing we receive or acquire. He has also given very clear instructions in His Word exactly how we are to deal with these blessings -- how they are to be accepted, appreciated, prioritized, and used. Everyone will benefit from learning the principles that God has written in His Word about financial stewardship. The materials offered on our website give practical instructions for singles, couples, and families to:
- learn God’s perspective on wealth
- use credit wisely and get out of debt
- establish and follow a balanced budget
- commit to giving (tithing)
- plan for retirement
